Music Video Pitch – “Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl” by Chappell Roan Chappell Roan is one of the most exciting rising artists in pop music today, known for her bold aesthetic, theatrical style, and unapologetically fun sound. After seeing her perform live at ACL Music Festival in October 2024, I was immediately inspired to conceptualize a visual narrative for her electrifying track, “Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl.” This music video follows Chappell on a disastrous date at a bar with a guy who’s clearly disinterested and painfully dull. Frustrated but empowered, she ditches the date and hits the city streets with her girlfriends. What follows is a high-energy, neon-drenched night of self-expression, style, and freedom—a celebration of reclaiming joy and confidence when someone else can't match your spark. The video blends vibrant Y2K visuals, playful choreography, and tongue-in-cheek glamour, capturing the essence of a "super graphic ultra modern girl" on her own terms.
